This workshop will give participants insights into new model, and data driven approaches to energy retrofitting of buildings. Through the access to better data, retrofits with the highest cost-effectiveness can be identified and evaluated. Experts will present new research on daylight renovation as a retrofitting strategy and innovations within sustainable building materials. This workshop will take a hands-on approach to the tools and challenges within this field, and combine with an update on how industry leaders and public authorities in New York and Denmark have implemented these new approaches.
 Part I will focus on model and data driven approaches to building energy efficiency.
 Part II will dive into deep energy retrofitting, including application of sustainable building materials.
